Today is National Poetry Day and we celebrated with an assembly dedicated to poetry, poetry in lessons and a poetry treasure hunt around school...
Dozens of our favourite poems were placed in random spots around school for everyone to read and enjoy (we even found one in Mrs Harris' office!). Children were also encouraged to bring in some of their favourite poetry or a poem they had written to share with the class.
