After last years incredible success, pupils had fun celebrating dotty day on Friday to raise money for sight loss charities across the UK.

There were many dot-themed activities taking place such as dressing in dots and a cake sale. Pupils took part in making dotty biscuits, decoding secret messages using Braille and even Braille twister!

A special thank you to Frankie Rohan, a visually impaired tennis coach, who taught Year 3 classes how to play. Frankie said, “being able to deliver a fully inclusive, fun tennis session created the perfect opportunity to show how no matter what disability a pupil may have, or what range of ability you have within a class, everyone can join in and have fun during a sports activity session”.

Dotty celebrations continue with another cake sale today. Keep an eye out for the grand total raised which will be published in this weeks newsletter.
