Year 6 pupils arrived home on Wednesday after an adventurous two night trip to the Kingsway Adventure Centre.
After arriving on Monday morning, the adventure started straight away with the high ropes course, finishing with the Leap of Faith. Later in the evening, pupils enjoyed a walk along the river, skimming stones and looking for fossils, followed by a lovely warming hot chocolate.
Day 2 was wet day! Pupils spent the morning having fun at a local river - canoeing and kayaking before a game of water basketball. The afternoon activity was gorge walking - a real highlight of the trip. Pupils spent the evening warming up with hot chocolate and testing their knowledge with a quiz.
On the final day, pupils completed team building games before working in pairs to compete in a crate building competition. Amelia and Anthony won with a staggering 18 crates!
The whole trip encouraged pupils to step outside of their comfort zones to take on some really tricky challenges - well done to everyone.
Behaviour was, as always, explementary with many of the centre's staff commenting on the children's fantastic teamwork, perseverance and postive attitudes!
