In DT lessons this week, the children in Year 2 were introduced to machines and mechanisms. After watching a video on the topic, they discussed the main ideas from the video and learned about parts of machines that create mechanisms. They then followed instructions to make their very own slider mechanisms! The children worked very hard and are looking forward to making lever and linkage mechanisms in the coming weeks.
