Our Year 4 pupils have just completed their 'fresh food, good food' DT project where the classroom became a factory and kitchen for the day! The children enjoyed considering the way different materials can be used to keep food fresh and how these methods have evolved and changed over time.
The class went on to create their own products by looking at shape nets and considered the materials they would use to keep their food fresh, whilst also being mindful of the environment and sustainability. The children ended the afternoon with their own healthy snack - fruit kebabs. Well done, Year 4!
